Student Life

Student life at TKA is full and offers something for every student. From clubs to pep rallies, students are encouraged to participate as part of TKA’s mission to develop students socially, physically, and morally. Student life participation is not just on our campus, but also in the community. Missions, service clubs, SCISA events, and national conferences are just some of the opportunities TKA students have to enrich their student life outside of TKA.

Spirit Week

Spirit Week occurs each fall leading up to our varsity football Homecoming game. The week is filled with themed dress-up days, sidewalk chalk decorations, poster making, and float building. Each day builds to Friday when the Homecoming King is announced during the pep rally, students in 9th – 12th grade participate in t-shirt judging, battle each other in volleyball, present their lip sync, and have their floats judged. The winners of the class competitions are presented at the football game Friday night. Our Senior girls are presented at halftime and the Homecoming Queen is crowned.
