I grew up on a huge horse farm in Kentucky.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from Ninety-Six High School. I graduated from Francis Marion University with a B.S. in Political Science and minor in Mass Communications. I graduated from University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in Teaching.
What is your philosophy of Christian education?
As teachers, we have the opportunity to prepare students for life beyond our subject matter. Christian teachers believe that a Christian worldview will be more valuable for any student than content mastery. With a true discipleship program and teachers who truly seek the Lord in their private lives, The King's Academy is well equipped "to produce academic, social, and physical excellence through a program where minds and hearts are coming fully alive in Christ."
What is your favorite thing about TKA?
I love our students! I teach the best students in the Pee Dee!
What is something fun or interesting about you?
I learned Spanish in Niquinohomo, Nicaragua, home of famous revolutionary Augusto Sandino. He started the Sandinista movement in Central America. I lived with his niece, Manuela Sandino.
