TKA received its first accreditation from SCISA in 1991 and is re-evaluated for re-accreditation every three years. The King's Academy recently received re-accreditation in October 2004.

We are proud of the findings of the accreditation review. The following statements are quoted directly from our 2004 SCISA Accreditation Report. The full report is available in the administrator's office.

 "The King's Academy maintains a strong educational program in a Christian environment during a period of continuous growth approaching the maximum enrollment projected for the school. TKA is under the direction of a capable and dedicated administrator, with capable associates responsible for programs at the various levels of instruction. The school employs teachers who are well qualified for their assigned responsibilities. TKA seeks teachers who, in addition to competency in their area of expertise, have the desire and ability to motivate young people to reach their full potential. A very well stocked library is housed on the new campus."

    "College preparatory testing is administered utilizing the PSAT and the guidance counselor aids students in registering for SAT and ACT testing. Test scores at The King's Academy are impressive and desirable levels of achievement are maintained throughout the progression from grade to grade culminating in commendable college-entry scores. "

    "The new campus of The King's Academy is a 'work in progress,' but it is evident that an excellent and well-planned facility is emerging. Playgrounds, athletic fields, and a gymnasium are already in place and are being utilized for a developing sports program and physical education activities. Classrooms are decorated with learning aids and student work is displayed, presenting a bright and inviting learning environment."

SCISA Board members praised the school's administrators as the team that ran the school while TKA Board members made policy decisions and provided resources. Students felt that the teachers were friendly, competent, and eager to help. Students also stated that parents support the school. Many parents serve as volunteers in the school.
